RARE Kokeshi Doll "CHAMEKKO" by Masao Watanabe "Award-winning Artist"
This kokeshi artist Masao Watanabe is one of the most notable and skillful sosaku creative kokeshi artists.
He is famous for "Mushin" kokeshi, which depicts Buddhism idea "Empty Mind"

His Mushin kokeshi doll was made by a Yajiro style artist Masao Watanabe, who won a Japanese prime minister award in 1963 and 1971.
After winning these prizes, his works were evaluated and became more expensive.
Today it is very hard to get his work in good condition for this affordable price even in Japan.

The other one painting plum flowers has also curving cute form and she always smile and make you happy.
