Creative Kokeshi Dolls set Japanese by by Suigai Sato "Koume-chan" and Chie "Satonoko"
The left one is Suigai's work.
He is one of the best Sosaku Kokeshi artists, who is famous for his stylish design.
Since he won the Japanese prime minister kokeshi award in 1966, his works become valuable and got hard to find for an affordable price.
This kokeshi is his original Sosaku style which he developed after learning Japanese painting from his master "Suiun".
This is a great chance to own an award-winning artist's masterpiece.
Koume-chan means a nickname for girls, Koume can be directly translated to "Small Plum"
The red adorable girl kokeshi was made by Chie.
Chie is famous for her characteristic girl shape kokeshi dolls.
"Satonoko" means a kid from a village.
