This kokeshi won one of the most prestigious kokeshi competitions.
As you can see in the title, this kokeshi is a motif of Maiko, a Japanese traditional dancer.
Mai means dance, ko means girls or kids in Japanese.
If you are looking for a unique kokeshi, this is the one for you.
