RARE Kokeshi Creative Doll by Hideo Ishihara "Donko kokeshi"
Hideo Ishihara used to be a Naruko style kokeshi artist.
But since he didn't find Naruko's traditional style of creation interesting, he started his own style and became a great creative style artist.

These kokeshi dolls are called "Donko kokeshi", which is a relatively newly invented style of kokeshi dolls in the 20th century.

If you see his kokeshi's very unique shape, you can easily tell this kokeshi was made by him.
His works are still very popular and it's hard to get a good condition works.
I am very happy to share this masterpiece with you here.
