This great artist Ikuo Miyagawa won the prime minister award twice in 1980 and 1990.
Since then his reputation boosted and also raise the value of his works.
This kokeshi was made for Misasa hot spring as a souvenir.
Misasa hot spring is located in the southern part of Japan, in Tottori prefecture.
