RARE Kokeshi Dolls Set by Hajime Miyashita and Izumi Ueda Creative Japanese Vintage Handcraft
The smaller kokeshi was made by the master Hajime Miyashita who had won kokeshi competition so many times.
He has gotten the prime minister award twice in 1977 and 2000.
His works are always very valuable even in the secondhand market Japan.
The bigger one was made by Izumi Ueda and was titled "Moeka/Moeharu"
This simple design kokeshi is so loved by many people that many artists get some hint from his works.
You can find some similarities between his works and other artists.
