Rare Kokeshi Dolls Set Japanese Modern Creative by Kojo Tanaka and Masuo Sato
The kokeshi doll holding the red ball is Kojo Tanaka's work and is titled "Temari".
Kojo Tanaka won a kokeshi competition several times.
"Temari" means a ball in Japanese, once upon a time, children used to play in the garden.
You can see its beautiful and meticulous painting on the body.
The other one is Masuo Sato's work.
He is a kokeshi doll craftsman from Fukushima prefecture who made many cute creative kokeshi dolls.
