This artist "Sogen" is famous for his very cute design kokeshi dolls.
You can see a scary face demon which is called Namahage in Japan.
It is actually considered as an one of the gods.

Kojo Tanaka "Dream of Spring"
The taller one is a piece of work of Kojo Tanaka who won a kokeshi competition several times.
You can see its beautiful and meticulous painting on the body. Plum blossoms express the feeling of spring.
