Creative Kokeshi Dolls Set "Mushin" Small by Masao Watanabe and Bamboo Girl
This Mushin kokeshi doll was made by a Yajiro style artist Masao Watanabe, who won a Japanese prime minister award in 1963 and 1971.
After winning these prizes, his works were evaluated and became more expensive.
Today it is very hard to get his work in good condition for this affordable price even in Japan.
Unfortunately, I don't know the creator of the bamboo work.
It is a cute work that makes the best use of the smooth texture of the surface of bamboo.
