RARE Kokeshi Doll Japanese Modern Creative by Issetsu Kuribayashi "Yuki-guni"
This kokeshi was made by a creative kokeshi artist Issetsu Kuribayashi.
He won the most prestigious award "The prime minister award" twice in 1968 and 1969.
Also, he got many awards not only in Japan but also in the USA and Germany.

Yuki means snow in Japanese, on the other hand, guni means a country (prefecture).
These kokeshi represent the beauty of life in the northeast cold area of Japan.

His works are very popular among girls because of their cute faces.
This is a great chance to get his work for an affordable price.
