I was lucky to have a chance to purchase this rare kokeshi by Sadao Kishi

Nakayoshi-san means a Good-relation couple (people) in Japanese.

Although there are hundreds of kokeshi artists in Japan, not many of them can win the kokeshi competition.
This artist Sadao Kishi is also one of the prime minister award winners.
He won the prime in 1968.

Not only by Japanese people but also by people from all over the world, this kokeshi has been loved.
