Kokeshi Doll by Hideo Ishihara "Dojo" Japanese Traditional Vintage Handcraft
Hideo Ishihara used to be a Naruko style kokeshi artist.
But since he didn't find Naruko's traditional style of creation interesting, he started his own style and became a great creative style artist.

These kokeshi dolls are called "Dojo" that means "Girl".
This work is a relatively newly invented style of kokeshi dolls in the 20th century.

When you see his kokeshi's very unique shape, you can easily tell that kokeshi was made by him.
His works are still very popular and it's hard to get a good condition works.
I am very happy to share this masterpiece with you here.
